This policy explains what personal data NIMU Technologies ("we", "us") collects when you use nimutechnologies.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and other applicable Indian law.
1. Who We Are
NIMU Technologies is a software development and IT services company based at C4/1, Ground Floor, Sector 71, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301, India. For the personal data described here, we are the data fiduciary: we decide why and how it is processed.
2. Information You Give Us
- Contact and enquiry forms: your name, email, phone number, the service or project type you are interested in, your budget range and your message.
- Career applications: your name, email, phone number, the position you apply for, your resume and any cover message.
- Solutions & Packages and Build Your Solution: your name, company name, email, phone and WhatsApp number, website, business type, project requirements and preferred dates. For billing, we may also collect your GSTIN and billing address.
- Customer account: if you buy a package, we create an account with your name, email and a securely hashed password, and keep a record of your orders and payments.
- Payments: online payments are processed by our payment gateway, PayU. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered on PayU's systems; we do not see or store them. We receive the payment status, amount and transaction reference.
- Emails, calls and WhatsApp: when you contact us directly, we keep the conversation so we can reply and follow up.
3. Information Collected Automatically
When you browse our website, we collect information about your visit:
- Pages and actions: the pages you open, the links and buttons you click, how far you scroll, which forms you submit (the form's name, not what you type in it) and how long you spend on each page.
- How you found us: the referring website (for example Google or LinkedIn), and campaign details in the link, such as UTM tags or a Google Ads click indicator.
- Device and connection: your IP address, approximate country, device type, browser, operating system, screen size and language.
- Session recordings and heatmaps: we use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors move, click and scroll on our pages so we can find and fix usability problems. Clarity masks text you type into form fields, and we do not use recordings to identify you outside our website.
If you later submit one of our forms, we link that visit to your enquiry, so we can understand which pages and services you were interested in and respond better.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
| Name / Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session and security cookies (NIMU) | Keep the site working, protect forms against misuse and keep you signed in to your account | Up to 2 hours; longer if you tick "Remember me" when signing in |
nimu_vid and browser storage (NIMU) | A random visitor ID that lets us group your page views into visits and recognise returning visitors | Up to 400 days |
| Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads | Measure traffic and the performance of our ads, including whether an ad led to an enquiry | Set by Google, up to 2 years |
| Microsoft Clarity | Session recordings, heatmaps and usage insights | Set by Microsoft, up to 1 year |
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some features may not. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not record your visit in our own visitor log or in Microsoft Clarity.
